According to one of many leaked reports coming out of the White House, President Trump wants female staffers working in the White House to “dress like women”. This of course, prompted an immediate social media response.

It didn’t take long for the hashtag #DressLikeAWoman to begin trending on Twitter. Many active military and veteran women posted pictures of themselves in uniform in a small protest against President Trump.

Two reporters from the political news site Axios, spoke with sources who worked on the President’s campaign. Apparently the President prefers women who work for him “to dress like women.” Reportedly, women working close to Trump feel pressured to wear dresses in order to appeal to his aesthetic sensibilities.

Women who contribute to the U.S. military, judicial system, science, education, technology, politics, law enforcement, the arts, and many other sectors, may seek further clarification on what exactly it means to “dress like a woman.”

Or maybe they’ll just keep dressing however they damn well please.
