This week, the team examines the healing powers of yoga (and Yoda), meditation and deep breathing, agreeing that breathing is everything. Join guest Elena as she guides the team through some essential breathing techniques taken from the Russian martial art SAMBO (supposedly a favorite of Vladimir Putin), Systema, boxing and U.S. Navy SEAL training. The team also tries to figure out the meaning behind the latest U.S. Army study on meditation, but fails miserably.
James discusses his recent cannabis/yoga beach event, while Don explains his yoga experiences, and the team discusses anger management and the avoidance of needing to drywall.
And at the end of the day, the team agrees that if you’re going to effectively combat PTSD and depression, fear of loss is the path to the Dark Side, and you must train yourself to let go of everything you fear to lose.
