President-elect Donald Trump used his Twitter account to attack Rep. John Lewis (D-GA-5) for telling “Meet the Press” moderator Chuck Todd that he doesn’t believe Trump is a legitimate president.
“Congressman John Lewis should spend more time on fixing and helping his district, which is in horrible shape and falling apart (not to mention crime infested) rather than falsely complaining about the election results. All talk, talk, talk – no action or results. Sad!” Trump wrote in a series of tweets that were, for some reason, sent 17 minutes apart.

Rep. Lewis, a legendary American civil rights leader, was asked if he would try to forge a relationship with the president-elect. Lewis said he believes in forgiveness but added, “it’s going to be very difficult. I don’t see this president-elect as a legitimate president.” When asked why he doesn’t see the president-elect as legitimate, Rep. Lewis cited U.S. intelligence reports of Russian interference and the release of Hillary Clinton’s campaign chairman John Podesta’s emails by Wikileaks
“I think the Russians participated in helping this man get elected. And they helped destroy the candidacy of Hillary Clinton,” added Lewis. He also told Todd that he does not plan to attend Donald Trump’s inauguration on Friday. “I don’t plan to attend the inauguration. It will be the first one that I miss since I’ve been in Congress. You cannot be at home with something that you feel that is wrong, is not right.”
Other Democratic lawmakers have stated that they plan to boycott the event as well.
So a lot of Democrats are gonna be asked now if they stand with John Lewis. Could be massive boycott of inauguration.
