Elena Mavrina | Senior Digital Editor | Elena is a Russian-born American citizen currently residing in New York City. Encouraged by the American spirit of freedom, and with the support of a loved one, Elena took a bold leap in career change and pursued her passion for visual storytelling. Since that leap Elena has worked on numerous entertaining and compelling projects which include comedy, crime, political, documentary, news, fashion and commercial genres. In her free time, Elena likes to learn something new about both the creative and tech sides of visual narratives and to be physically active. One of Elena’s favorite old, Russian sayings is “Бери́сь дру́жно, не бу́дет гру́зно“, which translates literally to “Take hold of it together, it won’t feel heavy”. This means Teamwork. Elena believes that building a great team is essential for great achievements.
