Lima Charlie Entertainment’s Michael Gardner sits down with US Air Force veteran and hip-hop artist Gonzo to talk about Drake’s newest album and more! Gonzo details his path from the USAF to being a professional musician, and the guys talk about the realities in keeping up with the music industry. They spend time talking about Drake’s place in both rap and pop music, how “More Life” compares to his earlier albums, and whether he should speak more about cultural and social issues. Finally, Gonzo offers his insights about how “political” musicians should get, building and maintaining a fan base, and how much his military background influences what he does in music.
